Bulgaria's opponent in the group in Sofia – Ukraine, will play five friendly matches before its participation in EuroVolley 2026. The team led by Raul Lozano continues its preparation for the continental championship with a training camp in Tallinn.
The first part of the tests will be in Finland, where the Ukrainians will play two friendly matches against the hosts. The first is on August 19 and will be held behind closed doors, and on August 21 at 3:00 PM, the two teams will meet again.
After the matches in Finland, Ukraine will return to Estonia, where it will continue its preparation. In early September, Raul Lozano's team will participate in a friendly tournament with hosts Estonia, Latvia, and Slovakia.

August 19 – Finland – Ukraine (behind closed doors)
August 21, 3:00 PM – Finland – Ukraine
September 3 – Ukraine – Estonia
September 4 – Ukraine – Latvia
September 5 – Ukraine – Slovakia
After completing its preparation, Ukraine will head to Sofia for its matches in Group B of EuroVolley 2026. Ukraine's opponents in the Bulgarian capital will be Bulgaria, Poland, North Macedonia, Portugal, and Israel.
