Bonifante said "goodbye" to Lube, opening the way for Moni Nikolov

Lube Civitanova's setter officially hinted at his departure from the club through an emotional social media post – a move that practically confirms the developments that have been discussed for months. His exit opens the door for the expected change at the position, where the recruitment of Bulgarian international Simeon Nikolov seems increasingly realistic.

In his post, the player doesn't hide his gratitude and emotion regarding his time at one of the leading Italian clubs:

"I could hardly have imagined that at such a young age I would be able to play for a club like this, being part of matches and victories that I will remember forever.
I gave my maximum every day – sometimes I succeeded, other times I didn't, but I understood and accepted that this is part of sport and life.
I thank everyone I met – even those who, even in a small way, helped me become a better person and player compared to when I arrived two years ago.
It was a pleasure. Thank you all."

The tone of the message is clear – this is not just gratitude, but a farewell. Although the club has not yet issued an official announcement, this type of communication in modern volleyball often precedes such decisions.
A key summer awaits Lube Civitanova. The vacancy at the setter position is a fundamental decision that will determine the team's identity for the upcoming seasons.
And for Bulgarian volleyball – the potential transfer of Simeon Nikolov to one of the biggest clubs in the world would be further proof of the quality of the homegrown talent development in this position.
Everything now seems to be a matter of time.
