Sada Cruzeiro won the world title, reaching Trento in terms of prize places

Trento's dream of defending the world title for Italy ended in the fourth set of the first-place match at the Men's Club World Championship in volleyball. The final match in Uberlândia became a huge celebration for Brazil, as Sada Cruzeiro won the world title for the fifth time, thus reaching Trento at the top of the honor roll. The team from Minas won the Club World Championship in 2013, 2015, 2016, 2021, and 2024. Trentino lifted the cup in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2018.

The title was won in an impressive manner with a convincing victory over the Italian favorite Trento with a score of 3:1 (25:22, 20:25, 25:16, 25:22) on Sunday afternoon at the Arena Sabiazinho in Uberlândia.
Coach Filipe Ferraz kept the lineup from the last two matches, with Vaccari remaining a starter in place of Douglas Souza, who was replaced during the tournament.Again the 37-year-old opposite Wallace stood out, finishing the match with 23 points.Vaccari was the second-highest scorer for the Minas team with 12 points. For Trentino, the left-handed Michieletto scored 21 points, but the lack of effectiveness in the Italian attacks was felt. The decisive factor for the triumph of the Brazilian team was error control. The team from Belo Horizonte conceded 18 points from errors against 39 for the Italians. In the other elements, Trentino Itas scored more points in attack (51 against 46), won the battle at the block (9 against 6) and on serve (7 aces against 4).
