Roma proved too strong for Levski

Roma inflicted a crushing defeat on Levski in the second leg of the 1/8 finals of the Challenge Cup tournament. Radoslav Arsov's girls lost 0:3 (18:25, 12:25, 12:25) and are eliminated from the tournament, after losing at home with 1:3. Roma's victory came in just over an hour, with Mikaela Stoyanova, Tsvetomira Mitkova, and Daria Ivanova each scoring 6 points for Levski. Unlike the first match, when she scored 29 points, Stoyanova had an off day, registering a disastrous 19 percent in attack. The hosts outplayed us in all components, with points from blocks standing out 10:1, as well as points from serves 6:1 for Roma. The most effective player for the winners was Amelie Rotar from France - 13 points, who also became MVP: "We played an excellent match and deserved to qualify. Now we can't wait to play in the quarterfinals, but first we need to train in the hall and continue to develop to improve our position in the championship," she shared after the match.

Levski's team concluded its participation in the tournament, where it performed creditably, overcoming two opponents - Slovakian Nitra and Apollo 8 from the Netherlands.

Roma will play in the quarterfinals of the tournament against Belgian Charleroi, which eliminated Spanish CAV Esquimo.
