Maritsa Plovdiv lost in three sets against Imoco Conegliano in the Volleyball Champions League

Maritsa Plovdiv lost 0:3 (18:25, 12:25, 19:25) away against Imoco Conegliano in a match from Group A of the Women's Volleyball Champions League. The Bulgarian champion has one win and three losses, placing third in the standings.

The 2024 European club champion completely controlled the events on the court and managed to finish the match in just over an hour of play in the 'Pala Verde' hall. Only in the third set did the Plovdiv team briefly take the lead (1-3), but a serving series from Zhu Ting quickly turned the situation around.

The 'Panthers' depart on Saturday for China, where they will participate in the fourth Club World Championship in their history.

This was Maritsa's last match in the tournament for the current year. In January, the Plovdiv team has two more matches, against Rzeszów and Mladost.
