Radoslav Parapunov has joined PGE GiEK Skra Bełchatów. During the current season, the Bulgarian opposite will replace Kristian Valczak, who left the Bełchatów team at the beginning of November.
"This is very positive news for our club's fans. Radoslav is not an unknown figure in European volleyball, and we are glad that he will support our team with his experience. The second and very important part of the season is ahead of us, so such support will be very valuable," said Wiesław Deryło, President of the Management Board of KPS Skra Bełchatów.
Radoslav Parapunov successfully passed his medical tests and will represent the colors of PGE GiEK Skra Bełchatów during the 2024/2025 season. The opposite joined the team to strengthen the attack of the Bełchatów squad. He will be a backup for Amin Esmaeilnezhad, who proved to be one of the most positive transfers in PlusLiga this season.

Radoslav Parapunov is a 27-year-old opposite, 205 cm tall. He began his professional career at CSKA Sofia, and between 2017-2021, he trained and studied at the University of Hawaii, known for its successes in collegiate volleyball in the USA. It was there that leading American players like Taylor Averill developed. In his volleyball CV, the opposite also has appearances with the Serbian Vojvodina NS Seme Novi Sad, which competes in the Champions League, the Iranian Shahdab Yazd, and the German Helios Grizzlies Giesen. He comes to Bełchatów from his home club CSKA Sofia, where he trained after the end of his collaboration with the German team.
