The Vero Volley Milano team will be incomplete when they take the field tomorrow evening in Istanbul against VakifBank. The Milanese club announced late this morning that Oro and Marinova did not travel to Turkey due to physical problems (exacerbated knee pain for the setter and an ankle sprain for the Bulgarian). Undoubtedly, especially concerning the Olympic champion who orchestrates the game, this is a significant absence. Upon departure from Italy, Stefano Lavarini, coach of the Milanese team, stated: "In the last match of the first phase of our group in the Champions League, we will face a team with great traditions, which has players of undeniable talent and impressive physique in its ranks, led in the best way by one of the most respected colleagues (Giovanni Guidetti - editor's note). Very important points for our journey in the competition will be at stake, and we will give our best to take a step forward."
Oro and Marinova out for tomorrow's match against Vakif.
