Outside hitter Svetoslav Ivanov is without a team after terminating his contract with the Turkish Rams Global Cizre Belediyespor, volleyweek.bg learned. Ivanov was part of Marek-Union Ivkoni in 2016/17 and 2021/22, after which he went to play in Turkey. The 24-year-old volleyball player had options to play for Loko Plovdiv this season and had an offer from Poland, but in the end, he again preferred Turkey, where he was among the top-ranked outside hitters. "I'm at home now, waiting," Ivanov said succinctly. Financial reasons were behind the termination of the contract with the Turkish team, he clarified.
