Volero Le Cannet, currently in the middle of the standings, still shows flashes of the French champion it was in 2022 and 2023. On Saturday, the team from the French Riviera became the first to defeat leader Nantes with a 3-1 (25:18, 15:25, 25:20, 25:18) victory. Nantes, the league leader, had won all its matches in the first 9 rounds. Morgan Fingall (24 points, 1 ace, and 1 block) proved to be the executioner of the "Neptunes," who were too inefficient in attack (only 37% success rate). The triple block against French international Maeva Schalk also helped Le Cannet take down leader Nantes. Fingall was also named the MVP of the match.

With this unexpected victory, Ivan Petkov's team climbed two positions in the standings and is now eighth.

Nantes remains at the top, but now with a lead of only three points over Mulhouse, who recovered with a 3-0 (25-20, 25-17, 25-18) victory against Chamalières. Third-placed champion Levallois-Paris stumbled, this time at home against Terville-Florange with a 2-3 (19-25, 13-25, 25-23, 25-13, 13-15) loss, thanks in part to the play of Tatiana Kulikova.
In the other matches, Vandœuvre-Nancy defeated Bordeaux-Mérignac 1-3 (18-25, 19-25, 25-15, 17-25), Marcq-en-Barœul and their bombarding Katarina Pavičić (26 points, including 6 aces!) won a 2-hour and 20-minute battle against Aix-Venelles 3-2 (29-31, 25-23, 27-25, 18-25, 15-12), Béziers overcame Quimper 3-0 (25-16, 28-26, 27-25), and Cannes swept France Avenir 0-3 (18-25, 18-25, 10-25).
