The candidates for coach of the national women's U19 team are now three, the BFV website announced. The selection of the head coach was postponed by the Management Board until November 19, when the next meeting of the federation will be held. It is scheduled for 11:00 AM in "Conference 1" hall at Park Hotel "Moskva". The agenda includes two points - Selection of head coaches for the national teams – women, women U21, and women U19, as well as AOB.
Atanas Petrov submitted his application on November 12, or a day after the selection of the U19 women's team coach was postponed. Brigita Slavova-Badzhakova and Nikola Dimitrov had already submitted applications for the position. Petrov is the head coach of the Romanian powerhouse Steaua (Bucharest), and in the 2022/2023 season, he led Neftochimic 2010 to the championship title in efbet Super Volley.
Two candidacies have been received for the women's U21 selection – Dragan Nesic and Nikola Dimitrov.
For the position of head coach of the women's national team, the choice will be between Antonina Zetova and Ivan Petkov.
