Montana defeated CSKA in front of Gianlorenzo Blengini

Montana defeated hosts CSKA with a score of 3:1 (25:22, 21:25, 26:24, 25:16) in one of the most interesting matches of the sixth round in the Bulgarian men's volleyball championship.

The visitors took the lead in the match after the first set, but the "Reds" managed to get back into the game. The third set saw the hosts dominate, leading 8:3, 15:14, and 23:21, but they allowed a comeback to 26:24. This was the decisive moment in the match, and Montana had no problems in the final set.

Vasily Molotkov distinguished himself with 29 points (6 aces and 4 blocks) for the winners.

His teammate Kristiyan Aleksov added another 13 (2 aces and 3 blocks). Aleksov was named MVP of the match.

For the "Army men", Strahinja Brzakovic finished with 15 points (3 blocks), while Nikolay Penchev ended the clash with 13 (1 ace, 1 block).

Montana climbed to fourth place in the standings so far, while CSKA remained in seventh position.

In another match of the round, played on Friday, Dunav Ruse prevailed over visiting Pirin Razlog with a score of 3:1 (16:25, 25:18, 25:13, 35:33). This is Ruse's first success of the new season, Pirin also has one victory, with the teams being neighbors in the standings, occupying 10th and 11th positions.

On Saturday, the Burgas derby between Neftochimic 2010 and Dea Sport will take place. The champion Levski will host Dobrudzha 07.
