Levski added another trophy to its club showcase over the weekend. After the men's team defended its title yesterday, today the U20 girls' team also achieved a championship triumph.
In the final of the state championship, played in the capital's "Hristo Botev" hall, the team led by Denislav Dimitrov defeated CPVK 3:0 (25:13, 25:21, 25:20).
"The Blues" started strong and convincingly won the first set. In the next two, CPVK tried to put up more serious resistance, but Levski controlled the key moments and did not allow a comeback.
This was Levski's girls' 17th victory of the campaign. In the final tournament, they won all 5 of their matches, losing only 2 sets. During the season, the team also recorded 2 defeats.
A significant highlight is that almost all players from the U20 squad also play for the women's team, with whom Levski became the vice-champion of Bulgaria.
