Karyagin was also named MVP of the Turkish team's first match in the group stage of Europe's strongest club tournament. The Bulgarian finished with 16 points (1 block), showing 56% efficiency in attack and 44% positive reception.
Drazen Luburic finished with 14 points. For the hosts, who are newcomers to the tournament, Jori Manta finished with 11 points (1 block), while Ethan Champlin scored 10 points (2 blocks).
The second referee of the match was Aleksandar Vinaliev.
In their next group match, Fenerbahce will host Zaytsev and company from Vero Volley Monza. The match is on Wednesday (November 20) at 8 PM Bulgarian time.
