Turkish media report that the management of Galatasaray Daikin met with their current coach Guillermo Naranjo Hernandez to receive an explanation for the losses against Aydın Büyükşehir Belediyespor and Türk Hava Yolları, as well as against Fenerbahçe Medicana. According to other sources, the famous Istanbul club has contacted Marcello Abbondanza, the Italian coach who currently leads the South Korean team Pink Spiders. Marcello has a long career behind him, having managed and won with clubs from various countries, including Turkey.

Abbondanza was at the helm of Bulgaria from the autumn of 2011. The 43-year-old specialist led the national team to participation in the Grand Prix finals, the European Championship finals, and to second place in the European League. In 2013, Marcello Abbondanza became the head coach of Turkish Fenerbahçe.
