Yesterday was the deadline for the Bulgarian Volleyball Federation (BVF) to appeal the ruling of the Sofia City Court, which suspended the registration of the federation's new Management Board, according to a check with the court. The legal team of the national headquarters has decided that there is no point in challenging the court's decision before the Sofia Court of Appeals. The ruling was received on November 1, after which a seven-day period for appeal ran. This means that until the conclusion of the case, initiated by the claim of VC "Slavia," decisions will be made by the old Management Board. There is still no information on whether the case will be heard on its merits and when its first hearing is scheduled. Those familiar with judicial procedures believe that such a scheduling is possible at the earliest in the spring of 2025.
