The German Volleyball Federation (DVV) has confirmed that Polish specialist Michał Winiarski will remain head coach of the men's national volleyball team until 2028, setting his sights on the Olympic Games in Los Angeles. After the team's first Olympic qualification since 2012 and their strong performance in Paris, Winiarski, who took over the team in 2022, agreed to continue leading the squad on the path to Los Angeles. In addition to his coaching position with the national team, the 41-year-old specialist also coaches the Polish club Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie. His next challenge will be preparing the team for the 2025 World Championship in the Philippines. Winiarski expressed enthusiasm, stating: "We have made significant progress over the last three years and I am excited to continue building and integrating new players."
