Bulgaria would be second if the FIVB men's U21 ranking was released today

If the FIVB Men's U21 ranking came out today, Bulgaria would be in second place, calculated Ivaylo Chipev, a member of the Facebook group Bulgarian National Volleyball Fan Club (since 2011). We remind you that Chipev pre-calculated our vice-European champions' first place finish ahead of Greece and Serbia in the CEV ranking, 10 days before the ranking was officially released.
In his calculations, Chipev followed the set criteria of FIVB, and after all continental championships have been played (the South American one finished yesterday).

With the ranking thus created for the upcoming2025 FIVB Volleyball Men's U21 World Championshipthe following will qualify:

China (host)

Iran (world champion from the previous forum)

Japan, South Korea, Indonesia and Kazakhstan (AVC)

Tunisia, Egypt and Morocco (CAV)

France, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Italy and Turkey (CEV)

USA, Canada, Cuba and Puerto Rico (NOR)

The new development is the (still unofficial) qualification of Brazil, Colombia and Argentina (CSV), as well as Poland and Belgium, as the so-called 'lucky losers' - by ranking.
Currently, the FIVB website shows the ranking valid until July 21, 2023.
