Bulgarian outside hitter Samuil Valchinov will not continue his career with Italian Consar Ravenna. The news was personally confirmed by the volleyball player tovolleyweek.bg, thus ending his stay with the Serie A2 team. It is not yet known where he will head for the next season.
Parallel to this, there is also clarity regarding the future of the other Bulgarian in the squad – Hristiyan Dimitrov. The opposite hitter of the Bulgarian national team remains in Ravenna and will be part of the club's project for the 2026/2027 season.
Valchinov and Dimitrov will remain in Italy until tomorrow, as they have final commitments with their club team. After that, the two will depart for Bulgaria.
It is expected that next week they will join the national team's camp, which begins preparations for the upcoming summer and key international tournaments.
Valchinov's departure is part of Ravenna's larger selection process, which saw four players from the main squad leave, including Manuel Zlatanov, who returns to Piacenza, while Dimitrov remains an important attacking figure for the Italian team.
