Krasimir Georgiev and Svetoslav Ivanov were eliminated in the semi-finals of the Romanian Divizia A1 after their Steaua lost to Dinamo București.
Dinamo won the series 2-0, prevailing 3-1 in the second match (22:25, 25:22, 25:22, 25:22). Steaua started stronger and took the first set, but Dinamo turned the tide and controlled the next three. Premović was the top scorer with 23 points, while Rata and Polak finished with 16 each for Steaua.
Svetoslav Ivanov made episodic appearances and finished with 5 points and 50% attack efficiency, while Krasimir Georgiev was a starting middle blocker and recorded 7 points, 1 block, and 67% attack efficiency.
In the final, Dinamo will face Arcada Galați, who also closed their series with a 2-0 victory.
The title clash will be played in a best-of-5 format, with the first two matches scheduled for May 2 and 3 in Bucharest.
Georgiev and Ivanov will play for the bronze medal, with the series between Steaua and Zalău to be played in a best-of-5 format, and the first two matches on May 2 and 3 in Zalău.
