A third decisive match will determine the bronze medalists in the women's volleyball championship.
Yulia Ivanova's volleyball players defeated TSPANVK with a score of 3:1 (25:22, 20:25, 25:14, 25:23) and leveled the series at 1-1 in the battle for third place.
The 'Reds' displayed a completely different performance compared to the first match. The team played more confidently and controlled the key moments in three of the four sets, which logically led to their success.
The third set was particularly telling, won convincingly with a score of 25:14, in which CSKA asserted complete dominance. In the fourth set, the match once again entered a contested phase, but the hosts maintained their concentration at the end and closed out the match with a score of 25:23.
Thus, CSKA secured another chance to fight for the bronze medals, which the team also won last season.
The decisive third match will be played on Sunday, with CSKA visiting TSPANVK in Sofia.
The series is perfectly balanced – both teams have one victory with a score of 3:1. The difference lies in the individual sets, where each of the teams alternates strong and weak periods. Consistency in the decisive rallies will be key in the final match.
CSKA equalized the series and sent the battle for bronze among women to a third match
