Fenerbahce is preparing to part ways with Marcello Abbondanza, Eczacıbaşı wants him

Serious changes are expected at Fenerbahçe, as information has emerged in Turkey about a possible parting with head coach Marcello Abbondanza.
According to local journalist Barış Gündoğdu, the club's management plans to terminate the Italian specialist's contract and is prepared to pay him compensation of at least 200,000 euros.
In parallel, work is already underway to find his successor. Fenerbahçe's main goal is to sign the Brazilian Zé Roberto, who previously led the team to the championship title. The club's efforts are focused on convincing him to return to lead the team.
Poland's national team coach Stefano Lavarini is being considered as an alternative. Discussions were also held with Lorenzo Bernardi, but the club abandoned this option due to an expected negative reaction from the fans.
Marcello Abbondanza is also the current head coach of the Bulgarian women's national team.

Meanwhile, information has already appeared on social media that Zé Roberto is very close to signing with Fenerbahçe for a period of two years, and is expected to take over the team in case of a possible parting with Marcello Abbondanza. In parallel, Eczacıbaşı is negotiating with the Italian and has a preliminary agreement, while Ferhat Akbaş (head coach of Japan women's national team) is rumored to be Vakıfbank's new coach from next season.
