Levski Sofia defeated Neftochimic 2010 3-0 (25:20, 25:21, 25:21) at home in the derby of the second round of the Bulgarian men's volleyball championship.

The "Blues" left no doubt about their superiority and finished the match in just over an hour. The guests missed chances to make the match more interesting in the second and third sets.

Venislav Antov was the top scorer for the champions with 14 points. Todor Skrimov added another 12 points, and Svetoslav Gotsev distinguished himself with 11.

Polish opposite Rafal Faryna was the top scorer in the match with 16 points (3 aces, 62% attack efficiency - +7). Rozalin Penchev scored 10 points for Neftochimic 2010.

Levski started without their starting middle blocker, Cuban Livan Osoria, who had sustained an injury before the match.

He was replaced by young national Nikolay Nikolaev, who showed good play. Later, another youth national, Konstantin Kozelov, came in for him.

The loss of her beloved Aksel Truhchev was watched by his beautiful girlfriend - the runner-up for Miss France 2023 - Agathe Coe.

The match was also watched by national player Asparuh Asparuhov, who is recovering from ankle surgery.

The "Blues" are leaders in the temporary standings with 6 points (2 wins), displacing Dea Sport (Burgas) from first place. Neftochimic is 7th with 3 points (1 win, 1 loss). In the next round, Levski will face Dunav in Ruse, on October 29 (Tuesday) at 19:00. The Burgas team will play against CSKA, a day later.
