FIVB announced the final list of teams that will participate in the U19 Girls' World Championship. Since only two teams, instead of four, participated in the African qualification, FIVB decided to grant one spot to the winner of that match - Tunisia. The remaining two spots were awarded to the highest-ranked teams that had not yet received visas for the championship, which, according to the U19 Girls' World Ranking, are Egypt (ranked No. 11) and Chile (ranked No. 20).
The U19 Girls' Championship will be held from July 3 to 13, 2025, in Croatia and Serbia, while the U19 Boys' Championship will take place in Uzbekistan from July 24 to August 3.
Thus, the participating teams for the U19 boys' and girls' competitions were confirmed, and the draw date was set.
Meanwhile, the teams qualified for the U21 World Championship 2025 will be definitively announced in November.
The draw to determine the composition of the groups for the U19 and U21 World Championships 2025 will take place on December 4, 2024, and will be streamed live on Volleyball World YouTube.
The FIVB U19 Girls' World Championship will be held from July 3 to 13, 2025, in Osijek, Croatia, and Belgrade, Serbia, with the preliminary phase (July 3-8) followed by the 1/8 finals and playoffs (July 9-13). The bronze and gold medal matches will take place in Osijek, Croatia, on July 13. At the request of the hosts, the event dates have been moved forward by one week.

The FIVB U19 Boys' World Championship will take place from July 24 to August 3 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, with the preliminary phase from July 24-29, and the 1/8 finals and playoffs between July 30 and August 3. The winners will be determined on August 3 with the gold and bronze medal matches.
The FIVB U21 Women's World Championship will be held in Jakarta, Indonesia, from August 7-17, 2025, with the preliminary phase from August 7-12, followed by the 1/8 finals and playoffs starting on August 13. The event will conclude with the finals on August 17.
Meanwhile, China will organize the FIVB U21 Men's World Championship in 2025 during the weeks of August 18 to 31. The confirmed competition schedule and host cities will be announced soon.
As a reminder, Bulgaria will participate in all six World Volleyball Championships in 2025. The last question mark surrounding a Bulgarian squad was removed after the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) announced that the country qualified for the U19 Boys' World Championship by ranking.
