"The Blues" had a huge game advantage in the first two sets, in which the guests from Burgas struggled to find an answer against the varied play organized by Stoil Palev.

At the beginning of the third set, Deya took a lead of a few points, which they managed to maintain until the very end. Levski's volleyball players managed to get within a point or two in the second half of the set, but never even reached an equalizer.

The fourth set proved to be the most dramatic, won by the guests from Burgas with 33:31. Levski's team led 12:9 in the middle, and at the end had five match points, but Deya's experienced players managed to escape, forcing the match into a tie-break.

In the decisive fifth set, the game once again started point for point. Levski took a two-point lead at 7:5 after a block against Dimitar Vasilev. Thus, the side change came at 8:6 in favor of the champions.

Deya, however, equalized at 12:12, but the Burgas team could not make another break point to take the lead. Tension arose when referee Ivaylo Ivanov called a carried ball on the visitors, giving "the Blues" a narrow lead in the score. On their second match point in the tie-break and a total of seventh in the match, "the Blues" closed the encounter with a block-out for 16:14.
