The women's volleyball team of "Levski Sofia" decisively defeated the team of Nitra Slovakia with 3:0 (25:12, 25:12, 25:14) in their first match for the Challenge Cup. The match was played in front of more than 200 spectators in the capital's "Levski Sofia" hall. The return leg is on October 16 (Wednesday). The "Blues" need to win only two sets to advance to the 1/16 finals.
Mikaela Stoyanova finished with the most points, 14, followed by Guadalupe Martin with 12.

From the very beginning of the match, Radoslav Arsov's girls hinted that they would be complete hegemon on the court. Until the end of the match, there was never any doubt as to who would be the winner of the duel. This was also the first official match for the local specialist, who had led teams from France and Russia before landing on Sofia soil.
