Volleyball champions Maritsa (Plovdiv) drew their first friendly match in Istanbul against local Besiktas (Istanbul).
The match was in a four-set format and ended 2:2. The individual sets were 21:25, 25:23, 25:17, 23:25. The match was played in the Besiktas hall.
Dobrina Hristoskova was the most productive for Maritsa with 19 points, Iva Dudova finished with 16 points, and Vanessa Agbortabi added 12 points.
For Besiktas, Humay Firincioglu was the most productive with 14 points.
Today, Maritsa will play against VakıfBank (Istanbul) in their second friendly match on Turkish soil.
