A memorandum of cooperation and partnership was signed bythe Confederation of Employers and Industrialists in Bulgaria(CEIB) andthe Bulgarian Volleyball Federation(BVF). This happened at a meeting of the Management Board of the largest nationally representative employer organization in Bulgaria, where the first item was the agreement with the BVF.

The memorandum was signed by the chairmen of the two organizations -, Chairman of the Confederation of Employers and Industrialists in Bulgaria, after welcoming the representatives of the BVF. -(CEIB) andLyubomir Ganev(BVF).

There is no other such coverage in the country in support of business interests as CEIB provides. I am glad that we have the opportunity to partner with the Bulgarian Volleyball Federation and I hope we will be useful, because sport is useful for business. Volleyball is one of the most successful team sports, and as such, it's normal to partner with the biggest, which you are. I've always said that state institutions, sports, and business must go hand in hand. And this symbiosis can yield great results– stated Ganev, president of the BFV. – Our focus has always been and will remain on the youth sector, because the wider the base of the pyramid, the greater our chance for good results. Our goal is to get children back into gyms and playing sports. I literally knock on door after door; my colleagues and I visit companies, institutions, and ministries, because the goals we've set as a federation are very difficult to achieve if we only expect the state to provide. We are grateful to the state for everything it provides, but we strive to attract partners with whom we can effectively help each other.

The President of the BFV provided a detailed overview to those present, not only of the international successes of Bulgaria's junior national teams, but also of the many hosting events that have been successfully organized in our country recently, as well as upcoming ones.

  added that KRIB extremely seriously defends the interests of its members and gave an example: "KRIB was the only one that resolutely opposed the withdrawal of funds that support sports, by stopping the advertising of games with an element of sports betting. KRIB members such as your federation, such as the Bulgarian Football Union, such as the Motorcycle Federation with chairman Angel Trakov, a member of the KRIB Management Board, asked us to defend them, and we did so, because we believe that sports should have adequate sponsorship and, overall – funding."КРИБ бяхме единствените, които се обявихме решително против отнемането на средствата, които подпомагат спорта, чрез спиране рекламата на игри с елемент на спортни залагания. Членове на КРИБ като Вашата федерация, като Българския футболен съюз, като Федерацията по мотоциклетизъм с председател Ангел Траков, член на УС на КРИБ, ни помолиха да ги защитим и ние го направихме, защото смятаме, че спортът трябва да има адекватно спонсориране и като цяло – финансиране, pointed out Ivanov.

Our members have always been advocates of sport and have helped,said the chairman of the KRIB Management Board and gave the example of Petar Kanev, who is the first vice-president of the Bulgarian Volleyball Federation and one of the founders of KRIB.

Thank you for inviting us and for being with us! Volleyball remained the only team sport that is still doing well. We have over 100 players playing abroad, in turn, took the floor andPetar Kanev. He made a comparison with sports budgets in Bulgaria and other countries that have successful national teams such as Italy, Turkey, Serbia, Hungary. He gave specific examples with the volleyball federations of Italy (80 million euros), Poland (60 million euros) and Turkey (85 million euros).

"Sport must be a state policy. What Orban did, what Erdogan did, what the Serbs did, they created a program with serious investments and created sports. The next government must understand that sport is an investment for our children and our future. Sport, education and culture are the three things that will save Bulgaria. Everything else is for today, not for tomorrow. In volleyball, we succeeded precisely with the youth in the last 2-3 years. We have European champions and silver medalists in the juniors. We have a very good generation and we need serious partners like you!, added Kanev and told how theNational Women's Volleyball Leaguewas saved in the last few years.Ganev pointed out that next year we will have eight national team participations -
six World and two European Championships, with the priority now being to secure support for the youth teams, which do not receive full financial support for their preparation and participation in championships from the Ministry of Youth and Sports., като приоритетно сега е осигуряването на подкрепа за подрастващите състави, които не получават пълно финансово обезпечение за подготовката и участието си на шампионати от Министерство на младежта и спорта.

The memorandum was signed by both parties to the applause of the members of the KRIB Management Board, who received an invitation from the federation's representatives to attend national team matches.
