Even at 41 years old, trophies look good in the hands of Super Bobo. Boyan Yordanov is unstoppable, and after his impressive performances in Greece, he lifted the Cyprus Super Cup, this time in the colors of Pafiakos (Paphos).
In the final for the trophy, last year's championship finalist, led by the Bulgarian 'bomber,' defeated champions Omonia Nicosia 3:0 (26-24, 25-18, 25-19).
Yordanov and co. only had difficulties in the first set, which they won 26:24 after 39 minutes of play. After that, Pafiakos dominated the court thanks to the experienced Bulgarian opposite hitter.

Thus, Pafiakos ended Omonia's record-breaking, undisputed streak of 43 consecutive victories in all tournaments and won the Cyprus Super Cup for the 4th time in its history.
The President of the Cyprus Volleyball Federation (KOPE), Dr. Costas Constantinou, presented the prestigious trophy to Super Bobo with visible emotion.
