Former national player Nikolay Penchev will wear the CSKA jersey. This became clear this morning after a phone conversation with Sasho Popov, president of the "red" club. This news is expected to be officially confirmed later today during the presentation of the team's new kits and sponsor.
"We didn't seek to make this good news public now. Niki Penchev has been training with us since the start of the preparatory period, but he was waiting to see how his future abroad would unfold. However, today we agreed that he will wear the red jersey. I hope Niki Penchev... by our standards he is a young boy, let him help the club and us for many years," said Alexander Popov half an hour later, at the official event for the team's new sponsor.

Penchev last played for Turkish Fenerbahce, and before that he was part of teams from Ukraine, France, Poland and Italy.
