CSKA's volleyball players recorded a second victory and took first place in the "Boris Gyuderov" Cup competition in Pernik. Alexander Popov's boys defeated Lokomotiv Avia Plovdiv with a clean 3:0 (25:20, 25:22, 25:21). The most effective player for the Reds was Strahina Barzakovich with 17 points, followed by Stefan Chavdarov with 9.

Nikolay Penchev contributed 6 points and played in two full sets. For the Lokomotiv team, the most effective player was Julien Georgiev with 8, with captain Todor Valchev scoring one less.

Tomorrow, CSKA plays against Montana to determine who will be the winner of the "Boris Gyuderov" Cup. Dani Peev's boys won the trophy in last year's edition of the tournament. This year, for the first time, the competition is three days long and follows a "round-robin" system.
