Polish opposite hitter Rafał Faryna was presented today as a volleyball player for Burgas Neftochimik. He will replace the departed Russian volleyball player Pavel Moroz.
He is 30 years old - born on September 18, 1994, and is 200 cm tall. He last played in his home country for Trefl (Gdańsk), with which he even has 4 matches this season in the Polish championship.
Before that, Rafał played for Radom, Wyszków, Hajnówka, Będzin, Lublin, MTS, and Toruń in Poland, as well as for the Iranian Paykan (Tehran) and Hatta (Dubai) in the UAE.
With Lublin, he is the champion of the summer preseason Grand Prix tournament in the Polish Superliga, and with Paykan - third in the Iranian championship.
Faryna is registered for Europe and is expected to play for Neftochimik in the first 1/32 final of the Challenge Cup on Wednesday at 7:00 PM in "Arena Burgas" against Kifissia (Greece).
