Levski volleyball club president Vladimir Nikolov presented the club's "SuperOctober" initiative, which will kick off the new season for the men's and women's teams of the "blues." Nikolov is adamant that this season Levski will continue to develop, with huge expectations for the women's team, which is expected to end Maritsa (Plovdiv)'s hegemony in the championship.

"I have the honor to present SuperOctober for our club. We named the month this way because we start the season with participation in the Supercup, we will have two super derbies with CSKA, the women's team will have a super match with champion Maritsa, as well as the first match of the European tournaments. The "Become a Supporter" campaign also continues. Our main sponsor Garitage Park is committed to doubling all collected funds with the idea of continuing the development of young players," said Nikolov.

"To some, it may seem short, but for us, the path here has been long and difficult. I am absolutely very happy with the development of Levski. We continue to expand and build upon what we have. When we started in 2016, we only had one compromise men's team and one youth team. Now we have strong men's and women's teams, as well as four teams in both directions across all age groups, or a total of 10 teams. We are trying to develop in the best possible way," added the president.

"Last year we had two instances where our hall was too small. Let's hope that we will have more occasions this season, and if that happens, we will think about temporary stands on both sides of the court; there is a possibility for that," concluded Vladimir Nikolov.
