Samuil Valchinov, who moved from Montana to Banca Macerata, shared that he expects the team to be among the top places in Serie A2. The Bulgarian gave a short interview to the club's website regarding his arrival in Italy and his impressions from a personal and professional perspective.
"How was your first month here, your relationship with Macerata as a city and as a volleyball environment?"
"First, after a month here I can say that I am impressed: so far I feel very good. It seems like a great place to work and improve my skills. The attitude of the coach (Castellano, editor's note) and all the staff is very professional. The organization in the club is at a very high level.
The city is also fantastic, I've seen most of it now, which allows me to fully enjoy my free time."
"What do you think about the pre-season preparation, which is almost over? What are your goals that you have set and can achieve during the season?"
"The friendly matches are going very well! As always, as a person and as a professional player, I have high expectations for myself and my team. I still don't know most of the teams and players in A2, but I expect us to be in the top places in the final standings."
Today the team has a new control match with Emma Villas Siena, after which it will participate in the "Furiassi-Valenti" memorial, together with the teams of Abba Pineto and The Begin Volley Ancona. The tournament is this Sunday in the Banca Macerata Forum hall.
