The Bulgarian Volleyball Federation not only continues its successful partnership with "Demax", but is also pleased to announce that this year the financial parameters of the contract have been increased. The contract was signed today at the BFV office by presidentLyubomir Ganevand the majority owner of the group of companies, eng. Petar Kanev.Petar Kanev.
"With each passing year, we see better results from this collaboration, and that is inspiring for me. My involvement in Bulgarian volleyball has always been with the aim of encouraging and helping the development of my favorite sport -commented eng. Petar Kanev, who is Vice President of the BFV and a member of the Management Board.Four years ago, we were faced with the threat of having only three clubs in the women's championship. With the diligent work of the team in the National Volleyball League - Women Commission and with the financial support of "Demax", this did not happen. Last season there were 8 teams, this year there are 10, and for next season we have interest from two more clubs to join. This means that the number of participants will reach 12. I cannot help but be satisfied with this progress, but my joy is even greater because we are on the way to reviving women's volleyball in an iconic city for our sport, such as Pernik. The National Volleyball DEMAX+ League has shown that it gives young Bulgarian athletes the opportunity to perform, develop and grow. This summer we also saw the concrete reflection on the national teams with the winning of a European title for women under 18 years old. Huge pride! Not only these successes, but also the interesting matches in the playoffs and the full hall at the Cup of Bulgaria final, are a huge motive for financial support from "Demax" to the championship and the Cup tournament."
The "Demax" group of companies has been the general sponsor of the women's league without interruption since2020.The financial assistance relieves clubs of referee, transport and accommodation costs.
