Volleyball Club Marek Dupnitsa was unanimously accepted as a new member of the Bulgarian Volleyball Federation. This happened at today's meeting of the Management Board of the headquarters, and immediately after that, the documents of the new club were submitted for registration to the Ministry of Youth and Sports. If it receives a license from the Ministry of Youth and Sports on time, VC Marek Dupnitsa will be able to participate in the upcoming General Assembly of the Federation, which will be held on September 28 in Vitosha Hall in the capital.
The chairman of the new club from Dupnitsa is Borislav Kyosev. The volleyball legend, along with the mayor of the city - Parvan Dangov, will welcome part of the management of the Bulgarian Volleyball Federation on Monday, September 23. The event is scheduled for 6:00 PM in the 'Dupnitsa' sports hall. Children from the academy, as well as other representatives of the local municipality, will attend.
More than 100 children wish to train at VC Marek Dupnitsa. Kyosev pointed out that the club is starting from scratch and will initially develop youth teams. The president of the Bulgarian Volleyball Federation, Lyubomir Ganev, pledged to provide balls for their needs, which will be donated at the meeting on Monday.
