The match started with an advantage for Cannes, who took the first set 25:22, but then the visitors from Le Cannet showed stronger mental resilience and better game organization. With three consecutive sets won, they turned the match around, with the culmination coming in the fourth set, dramatically decided 26:24.
Vangelia Rachkovska scored 7 points, including 1 ace, and contributed in key moments of the match. The top scorers for the win were Alina Popov with 16 points, Aida Dautova with 15, and Lyubov Svetnik with 10.
