Cucine Lube Civitanova qualified for the final of the Jesi Volley Cup 2024, after defeating Allianz Milano 3-0 (25-20, 33-31, 25-20) in PalaTriccoli in the second semifinal of the second edition of the tournament. Thus, the 'red and whites' will face the champions from Perugia, who defeated French Tours 3-1. Lube, who are the holders of the first trophy from the tournament, will play today to defend their title starting at 7:00 PM Bulgarian time.
Lube offered a faster game, very good defense (great performances by the national libero and Lube captain Balaso), an advantage in blocking (8 to 2), and almost perfect reception.

The most productive player in the match was Reggers from Milan with 17 points and 70% attacking efficiency. He was also the only player with a double-digit score among his teammates.

The 'red and whites'' setter managed to effectively use all his attackers, which decided the match: Loeppky finished with 15 points (67% attack, 1 ace and 2 blocks), Bottolo 14 points (2 aces and 2 blocks) and Dirlic 11 (91% attack and 1 block). Chinenyeze's 9 points (73% attack and 1 block) also contributed to the winning outcome of the match.

Lagumdzija added 8 points, making decisive blocks on several occasions.
Matey Kaziyski finished with a modest 6 points.

Alex Nikolov participated in the warm-up but was once again not on coach Medei's roster.
