The team of Fenerbahçe Opet, led by Bulgaria's national coach Marcello Abbondanza, leveled the final series in the Turkish Sultans League after defeating VakıfBank away with a score of 3:1 (19:25, 25:18, 25:18, 25:20). Thus, the series score became 1-1 wins.

The match started better for the hosts, who took the first set 25:19. In the second set, however, Fenerbahçe improved their service game and found their rhythm to equalize after a 25:18 win. In the third set, the visitors imposed control and led 12:7, after which they reached another 25:18 without hesitation. In the fourth set, the "Yellow Angels" maintained their advantage and, after a 25:20 win, closed the match at 3:1.
The top scorer for the victory was Melissa Vargas with 28 points, while Arina Fedorovtseva added 19.
Captain Eda Erdem commented on the importance of the victory:

"A very important victory. After the first set, we started serving better and found our rhythm."

The final series is played to three wins, and the third match is scheduled for April 13, again at VakıfBank's arena.
