Maritsa is in the final for a 12th title

Maritsa (Plovdiv) closed out the semifinal series against CSKA without hesitation and will once again play for the title in the Demax National Volleyball League. The champions exerted full control in the third match as well, celebrating a clean 3:0 victory (25:13, 25:19, 25:16) and ending the series with 3:0 wins.
In "Stroitel" Hall, Ahmetdjan Ershimsek's team demonstrated its familiar dominance, making the decisive move already in the first set. With the score tied at 9:9, the Plovdiv players unleashed their power from the service line and achieved an impressive run of ten consecutive points, practically deciding the set at 25:13.
In the second set, the scenario repeated – Maritsa dictated the pace from the very beginning. A 9:5 lead quickly grew to 18:9, and control over the rallies remained entirely in the hands of the hosts. The set concluded at 25:19 after a successful attack by Boryana Angelova.
The third set offered a brief attempt at resistance from the "Reds". After a 6:2 lead, Maritsa allowed a tie at 10:10, but the champions' reaction was immediate – a run of four consecutive points restored their initiative. Until the end, the Plovdiv players did not allow another comeback and closed the match at 25:16.
The match was also special due to the return of Dobrina Hristoskova, who reappeared in play for Maritsa after a prolonged absence.
The top scorers for the victory were Iva Dudova and Aleksandra Kitipova with 12 points each, while Viktoria Koeva and Boryana Angelova added 9 each. For CSKA, only Nikol Peychinova distinguished herself with a double-digit score – 10 points.

With this success, Maritsa continues its quest for a 12th consecutive title, and in the final, they will face the winner of the clash between Levski and CPVC, where the score is 1:1 wins after two matches.
