Bulgarian international Kristian Titriyski continues to impress with his performance in the US collegiate championship, after being named "Attacker of the Week" in the Big West conference. The University of Hawaii volleyball player earned the recognition following his strong performances in two victories over UC Irvine in Honolulu.
For Titriyski, this is his fourth award of the season, as he wins the honor for the second consecutive time and for the third time within the last four weeks. In total, in his career, the Bulgarian now has six weekly honors in the Big West – an indicator of his consistency at a high level.

The 'Rainbow Warriors' recorded two victories in the series, with the first coming after a dramatic 3-2 comeback, and the second – much more convincingly with a 3-0 score. It was in these two matches that Titriyski was a key figure in attack.
Within the series, the Bulgarian scored a total of 36 points from attack (an average of 4.50 per set), maintaining an attack efficiency of 33.3%. Additionally, he contributed in defense with an average of 1.38 digs per set, as well as two service aces.
In the first match, Titriyski finished with 16 points, adding 8 digs and 2 aces – a key contribution to the comeback. In the second match, he reached 20 points with an impressive efficiency of 44.8%, 15 of which he scored after the first two sets, when his play reached an exceptional level (60% success rate).
Titriyski's honor comes amidst Hawaii's dominance in individual rankings as well. His teammate Tread Rosenthal was named "Setter of the Week," which is his tenth award of the season and sixth consecutive.
In total, the 'Rainbow Warriors' now have 25 individual awards this campaign – more than double compared to the next team in the standings (UC Irvine with 11).
Hawaii continues to be among the leading teams in the NCAA with a 23-3 record and a perfect 6-0 in the Big West. After impressive performances at home, the team is set to conclude its road series with two matches against UC San Diego on April 10 and 11.
Given the form that Kristian Titriyski has demonstrated, the Bulgarian is establishing himself not only as a key scorer for his team, but also as one of the most dominant attackers in the entire championship.
