Bulgarian national team player Miroslava Paskova and her team LOVB Atlanta qualified for the League One Volleyball championship playoffs. Atlanta finished the regular season in second place with an 11-9 record and enters the elimination rounds as one of the main contenders for the trophy. In the last regular season match, Paskova was part of the Atlanta squad that dramatically lost to Houston 2:3 (25:16, 15:25, 34:36, 25:21, 15:9) before the start of the LOVB playoffs.
In the semifinal phase, Paskova's team will face LOVB Austin, with the series starting on April 10 in Louisville, Kentucky. Atlanta lost to Austin in the regular season 2:3 (21:25, 25:17, 25:17, 17:25, 15:11), and it was in this match that Miroslava Paskova recorded her best statistics for the campaign.
The final tournament brings together the four best teams in the league, who will determine the champion over three days.
For Paskova, this is an opportunity to contend for a first title in the newly formed league. The opposite hitter had limited participation for Atlanta during the LOVB regular season, primarily coming in as a rotational option and finishing with a moderate individual contribution.
