Bulgarian talents Kristian Titriyski and Aleksandar Kandev continue their strong performances in the US collegiate championship, recording new impressive matches for their teams.
Titriyski's team, Hawaii, secured a dramatic 3:2 (25:22, 19:25, 23:25, 25:23, 18:16) away victory against Irvine after a contested five-set battle. The 20-year-old opposite hitter was once again the leading scorer, finishing the match with 19 points, to which he added 2 aces and 1 block.
Aleksandar Kandev also contributed with the same total of 19 points in Long Beach's 3:1 (23:25, 29:27, 25:21, 25:20) away victory against San Diego. The outside hitter significantly contributed to the win, scoring 3 aces and 4 blocks.
Since the start of the season, Long Beach has a record of 17 wins and 4 losses, while Hawaii is performing even more impressively with 22 wins against only 3 defeats.
