Bulgarian national player Martin Atanasov recorded his first success with his new team Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi in the Final Four of the Indonesian Proliga. The team decisively defeated Surabaya Samator 3:0 (26:24, 25:16, 25:16) in a match played in the GOR Sritex Arena in Solo.
The match started evenly, with the first set going point for point. Bhayangkara, however, showed greater stability in key moments and closed the set 26:24. This particular set proved to be a turning point, as after it the team imposed complete control over what was happening on the court.
In the next two sets, Bhayangkara dominated noticeably, leaving no doubt about their superiority "," 25:16 and 25:16.
The new addition, Bardia Sadat, made a particularly strong impression. The Iranian national player, who arrived from the Turkish championship, established himself as a primary scoring option in his debut and was the focus of the attack, impressing with both his finishing spike and his serve.
Martin Atanasov also played a solid match, actively participating in both attack and reception, and helped balance the team's play. The Bulgarian was among the main offensive options and contributed to the control Bhayangkara imposed after the first set.
It is notable that the foreign duo carries the main burden in the team's play, with their synergy providing additional versatility in attack and stability in key moments.
Despite the clear victory, some fluctuations were observed in Bhayangkara's play, mainly in the organization of the attack, which is expected given the new additions and the need for better coordination.
With this success, Bhayangkara took an important step in the Final Four and showed that they will be a serious contender in the battle for the title.
