Two Japanese players arrive in Italy for the 2026/2027 season, Ishikawa leaves Novara

Yoshino Sato will make her debut outside Japan with Vero Volley Milano. The outside hitter, born in 2001, joins after a strong season with NEC Red Rockets Kawasaki, where she won the title and was named to the league's Ideal Six. She is the second Japanese player in the club's history after Satomi Fukudome.

Busto Arsizio made an even more significant transfer, acquiring national team player Yukiko Wada. The versatile opposite hitter has been among Japan's leading figures in recent years and will form an all-Japanese diagonal pair with setter Nanami Seki.
