Vero Volley Milano qualified for the Serie A1 final after closing the semifinal series against Savino Del Bene with a 3:1 victory (28:26, 19:25, 25:21, 25:22) in the decisive fourth match. Thus, Stefano Lavarini's team will compete for the title against Conegliano.
The match was even for long periods, but in key moments, Milano showed greater effectiveness in attack. Savino Del Bene responded after losing the first set and equalized, but in the third and fourth sets, the hosts asserted control.
Paola Egonu was outstanding with an impressive 35 points, and it was she who tipped the scales in the decisive rallies.

She received support from Lanier (15) and Piva (12), while Danesi added 11 points, with a remarkable 7 from blocks.

On the other side, Ekaterina Antropova finished with 26 points, and Skinner (17) and Nwakalor (14) also made significant contributions.
The new girlfriend of Bulgarian national player Aleksandar Nikolov – Hena Kurtagić – scored 5 points, but more importantly, she demonstrated a stable presence in blocking and excellent game reading, contributing to Milano's net balance.

Ultimately, the difference came from higher attacking efficiency – 47% for Milano versus 40% for Scandicci, which proved decisive for the final outcome.
Despite their elimination, Savino Del Bene is now focusing on the Champions League Final Four, where they will seek another strong finish to the season.
