Bulgaria will participate with teams in six world championships in 2025.

Bulgaria will participate in all World Championships in 2025. The last question mark regarding our squad was removed after the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) announced that our country qualified for the U19 Men's World Championship by ranking.

Bulgaria will have representatives in men's and women's categories, and three youth teams – U21 men and women, as well as U19 women – earned their spots at the World Championships based on their positions at this year's European Championships. Thus, our country will have representatives at all six world championships next year.

FIVB announced the hosts of the youth championships:

U21 Men's World Championship in China from August 18 to 31;

U21 Women's World Championship in Indonesia from August 4 to 17;

U19 Men's World Championship in Uzbekistan from July 21 to August 3;

U19 Women's World Championship in Croatia and Serbia from July 7 to 20.

FIVB changed the format of the World Championships in all age groups, and thus from 2025 there will be a record number of 24 countries from five continents in each one. All participating countries and the draw date for each championship are yet to be announced.
