Dunav (Ruse) left no doubt about their superiority and clearly outplayed Metallurg (Pernik) 3:0 (25:21, 25:21, 25:16) in the playout for staying in efbet Super Volley. The match was played in Gorna Malina, and the Ruse team demonstrated control and class in all key elements.
The first two sets offered relatively even play until about the 20th point, after which Dunav pressed with better block organization and higher attack efficiency. In decisive moments, the Ruse team was far more stable and closed out the sets without hesitation. The third set passed entirely under the dictation of Dunav, who early on built a significant lead and easily finished the match.
Alex Nikolov led the scorers for the winners with 16 points, Angel Pavlov added 12, and Aleksandar Kordev finished with 10. For Metallurg, only Metodi Metodiev reached double digits – 13 points, as the lack of a second prominent scorer proved to be a key problem for the Pernik team.
