DEAC lost 0:3 (22:25, 17:25, 19:25) away to Pénzügyőr in the first quarter-final of the Hungarian Extraliga, and Ivan Tasev was the only player on the team who showed a stable individual performance.
The Bulgarian receiver finished with 10 points (+1), including 1 block, 60% attack efficiency, and 54% positive reception. Tasev was also the only DEAC player to reach double-digit points in the match.
Despite his efficiency, problems in reception and a series of service errors did not allow the team from Debrecen to seriously challenge the opponent, who controlled the match in all three sets.
The second match of the series is on March 30th in Debrecen, where DEAC will be looking to tie the series.
Ivan Tasev is the only one at the level when DEAC is lost in pleophytes
