Not for a moment did the opponent raise any doubt as to which was the more skilled team on the court. Lorenzo Micelli's girls failed to even approach the 20-point mark in all three sets. We performed relatively well only in the third set until 14:16 in favor of China, but our strength was only enough to close the final part with just 17 points. The most productive player for us was Iva Dudova with 8 points, Maria Krivoshiyska scored 6, and captain Mira Paskova contributed 5. The Bulgarian team remains "anchored" at the bottom of the standings with 1 win, 8 losses, and 2 points, with our team facing Thailand, Brazil, and the Dominican Republic in the remaining three matches of this year's VNL.
