As we already reported, Bulgarian international Asparuh Asparuhov will continue his career next season with the Polish team Slebsk Malow Suwalki.
Until the end of the current campaign, the outside hitter will play for the French team Tours Volley-Ball, after the two clubs reached an agreement for a temporary loan. The Bulgarian will reinforce the leader in League A in the decisive phase – the playoffs, where the team will fight for the title.
Tours will start their participation in the eliminations against Arago de Sete, entering the series as a favorite after finishing first in the regular season.
The 25-year-old outside hitter will replace Landry Kawogo, who sustained an ankle injury in the match against Tourcoing.
Asparuhov returned to Bulgaria for a day and is expected to join his new team as early as tomorrow.
After the end of the season in France, Asparuhov will join the preparation of the Bulgarian national team for the summer tournaments, and then will return to Suwalki for the 2026/2027 season.
